Let me first say thanks to those of you who’ve begun following DART’s blog. I started it quietly a couple of months ago and have been trying to develop it as best I can before I begin promoting it on DART’s website and elsewhere.
Now to the business at hand: The latest change to the blog may cause a disruption, although hopefully it doesn’t.
The site is currently hosted by WordPress.com, which was a great way to kick it off. Now, though, we’re going to host the site on DART’s servers. We’re still using the WordPress software, but hosting it ourselves will give us greater flexibility to design the site and add features.
We expect the switch to take place overnight. If all goes well, you won’t notice much if any change. The domain name should remain the same — thebusblog.ridedart.com — and the blog should have much the same layout, at least starting out.
If you notice something that doesn’t look right, I would appreciate it if you would call my attention to it. Give me any other suggestions you might have, while you’re at it. Just email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
